So thankful and grateful for them

This is hockey tournament weekend.  For anyone who knows me, you will know that on a list of 10 best things I'd like to do on a weekend, a hockey tournament rates at about a -43.  So in the spirit of finding something to be thankful for every day and every moment, I've discovered the best part of hockey.  The volunteers!  I'm sure this is true in every sport but it seems to be that community sports would be extinct if it weren't for volunteers.  From the mom selling 50/50 draw tickets to the coaches; from the first aid parent to the volunteer in charge of goodie bags for the kids.  It can be overwhelming to see how many people are involved in putting on a weekend tournament.  I'm very thankful for those people who see a need and jump in to fill it.  You are greatly appreciated!  A.
