British Baristas and Italian Chefs

When I'm sick, I get weird cravings.  No, I am not pregnant, J!!!  The cold germs in my body make me salivate for interesting combinations of food.  Usually it's pretty simple - salt & vinegar chips.  Today I was craving London Fogs and Caesar Salad.  So of course I had to give in temptation.  What else does one do?  Aren't you supposed to feed a cold?  And you don't want to make a cold angry so you feed it what it wants!  It's only common sense.
The London Fog was delicious (one extra pump of vanilla syrup - taste buds aren't working so well) and I'll admit that I picked the dressing laden leaves of Romaine lettuce out of the salad.  It's a good thing I can't smell or I'd realize I probably have horrific garlic breath.
The combination of tea and salad hasn't made me any more healthy but it made my happy!  Oh, and thankful - and that's what this blog is all about - evermore thankful :)  A.
