Laughter

Today I am thankful for a good laugh.  You know those people who have infectious laughs?  Those laughs you hear across a room and can't help but giggle along?  I wish I had a laugh like that.  There aren't many who have been blessed by the kind of chuckle that creates a wave of hysterics clear across a room.  Someone should name the different kinds of snickers (project for you - J).  There's the laugh the comes straight from the belly, deep and full of substance.  Then there's the cackle that almost sounds like a bird or a witch from a fairy tale.  My favourite is a child's giggle which starts quietly and unobtrusively and grows into a full blown laugh which can't be stopped (often accompanied by hiccups).  I'm thankful for those wonderful chortlers who make my day :)  A.
