If it ain't broke ...

I've noticed a trend lately in music, movies and television.  Truly brilliant people are reviving the oldies.  Tried and true television series, hit movies and music that never gets old are being remade or even just brought back from the dead.  We've been enjoying the old war series "Hogan's Heroes" and the priceless "Beverly Hillbillies".  You can't beat that humour!  Some of the music I rocked to as a teenager, my daughter is now rocking to!  (She doesn't know they are remixes, she thinks they are original.  Don't tell her or they won't be cool any more).   Tonight on the Super Bowl (do you know where I'm going with this?  Do you?) the half time show was Madonna!!!  How's that for reviving something from the past?  I thought she was great.  I'm thankful that things I enjoyed when I was growing up, my kids can now be enjoying with me all over again.  Diiiiiis-missed!   (y'all come back now, ya hear?).
