Northern Fun

We had a wonderful day today for which I am thankful.  Want to know what we did?  Well of course you do or you wouldn't be reading this!

We went sledding.  For those of you who aren't northerners, sledding does not refer to tobogganing, it refers to snowmobiling.  It was such a gorgeous day and we took full advantage of it.  We spent time on the lake,  tried out some trails into the cliffs and forests and ended up at the end of the lake where we went miles down a creek.  My machine behaved beautifully.  She was very happy to "burn some carbon" and show everyone else how fast she could go.  My sled and I understand each other.  She hasn't had much time out this year yet so she was really happy to let go.

We finished off the day with a wiener roast.  We haven't had an outside wiener roast since .... well Christmas.  I know that's not that long ago but it was a great way to finish off a fabulous day.  There were so many other things I probably should have been doing but sometimes it's important to let everything wait while you seize the moment and take advantage of a phenomenal day.  Carpe diem!  A.
