So here is a little anecdote to describe what I am thankful for today:
Upon arriving home at (yeesh) 9 o'clock this evening, I announced to my mommy that I was going to have a shower, as I do every night. Using her mother-knowledge, she knew I hadn't eaten very much and therefore proclaimed: "Not until you eat young lady!" So, I reached into the fruit bowl, grabbed two oranges and ran to the bathroom. As usual, she used her mother-hawk-eye and spotted me instantly.
"You're going to eat those in the shower!?" She called after me.
"Yep!" I called back sarcastically.
But being the weird being that I am, I thought "Hey, why not eat them in the shower, I can save some time and get to bed earlier!"
Into the shower I ventured, oranges and all.
I regret nothing.
It was like a tropical sensation!
So that is the story of my shower tonight.
The moral of the story?
I'm really weird.
Who in the world thinks of eating oranges in the shower?
Well, apparently I do!
So I'm thankful for my own weirdness.
Because weirdness leads to creativity, which leads to discovery!
Now I know that if I want to eat oranges in the shower, it won't be a terrible experience...
So yeah.
Party on, party rockers. Party on.
