I am a very lucky person.
(Oh wait, before I begin, let it be known that this is yesterday's post)
I am so lucky.
Why?
Because I have like 5 families.
4 of them are adopted, yes, but they still count!
Yesterday, for example (when this post was supposed to be written) I went to sleepover at one of my bestest friend's house, their new house, where they had just moved in.
I hadn't seen it yet, and when I stepped in, the first thing her dad said was, "Welcome to your new second home!"
How awesome is that!?
Her mom then took me on a tour of the kitchen, and showed me where to find everything, in the case that I ever wanted to go to their house for lunch, because they live so close to the high school.
I find it kind of amazing that people can be so... Giving? Generous? Loving, even!
I'm so thankful for my "adopted" families. So, so, thankful.
