I wonder what J's excuse for not blogging all week is this time. She's overused the whole "we didn't have internet" excuse, don't you think?
Today I am thankful for rain, and the stopping of rain. Our spring has come on slowly and coldly (yes, coldly is a word - I just said so!). Therefore, the leaves are taking their sweet time coming out completely and the grass was starting to turn brown instead of green. But (big but!) we have had rain for the last two days. A beautiful, light, constant, rain. The perfect kind of rain that soaks right into the soil and brightens everything up. In two days, our world has gone from quite dull to bright and vibrant. It's amazing what moisture does to green up the environment!
As I'm writing this and the sun has set, it looks like the sky is clearing up so I'm hopeful that tomorrow will be sunny. I'm thankful for the rain and the vibrancy it brings, but one can only handle so much liquid before you need the sun again! Thanks for the rain, bring on the sun :)
