First Campfire of the Season

Today was a very beautiful day.  We had snow yesterday so pretty much anything would make today beautiful in comparison but it really was a blue sky/ sun shining/ not too windy - kind of day.  So we celebrated by having some people over for our first campfire of the year.  We grilled some pork chops and sat around the campfire until it just got too cold to stay out any more.  Somehow visiting around a fire is so much more natural and enjoyable than visiting around a living room.  It was a good evening and I'm thankful for it.  A.
