I've been working full time this week. What a drag! Who works full time? Why would anyone chose to work full time?! It takes up a whole week of just working! Normally I work three days a week but my partner and I switched some days so she could take a trip with her family. So I get to work two whole solid weeks. Two! Full time! Without any days off!
While it may appear on the surface that I am whining and complaining, what I am really doing is being thankful that usually I get to work part time. I get days to do grocery shopping and other errands. I get days to do my marking and planning. It's true that you aren't really thankful for what you have until it's taken away. I'm very, very thankful for my part time job and can't wait to get it back :)
