Extreme Yard Makeover

We bought our flowers and bedding plants about three weeks ago, maybe four.  We've kept them in our heated greenhouse all this time because of fear of frost and snow (a very real fear, I might add).  I've finally been given the go ahead to get all the pots out and plant the flower beds.  It took me hours today to get everything planted and watered but what a difference it makes!  It now officially looks like summer in our yard.  Some of the flowers had started blooming already in their small pots so the flower beds already look like they've been established for some time.  When I drive in the driveway and see all the greenery with splashes of colour instead of just dirt beds, it makes me happy!  And being happy makes me thankful.  And thus - today's blog!!  A.
