Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping
My intro has absolutely nothing to do with my thankful post today. It just seemed to come to me! I'm tired and the reminder that I had to write this post before bedtime came tapping on the door of my brain. Go figure!
Today I'm thankful for friends. Friends who give me a hug without knowing that I really, really needed one. Friends who bring my a London Fog to work just because I mentioned I enjoy Fogs. Friends who ask me how the Famine went because they know how important it was to me. Friends who remember something I said over a week ago and bring it up. Friends who save newspaper clippings and bring them to me because my two daughers have their picture in it.
It's good to have friends and I'm so very, evermore thankful for them today. A.
