Though the previous post may try to tell you otherwise, I must admit, today was not COMPLETELY terrible. Though I wouldn't exactly say that my first day back was a success, I will say that today ended on a good note.
Here is a little story to tell you...
On this fine evening, upon arriving home from work I realized I had piles of overdue math homework, and no idea how to do it. I was completely clueless. It just so happened that at that particular moment I was texting a good friend of mine, a friend in university. So I just asked him what to do, thinking he might give a half explanation that might sort of partly half-ways explain how to do it, but no. No no, my friend spent some of his own time to thoroughly write down instructions AND draw a diagram, which he then took a picture of and texted to me. Wow.
Wow. Wow.
Maybe for some people this is a common occurrence, but to me it was a pretty big deal. How can you not love the people who do those kind of things for you? I was (and still am) touched by it.
So one more thing to really be thankful for today is
Amazing friends? I don't think I can actually express how thankful I am for this one, but hopefully, reader, you have someone in your life like this, and you understand what I'm trying to say.
