I Am A., Hear Me Roar! (or squeak)

Today I am thankful for my voice, which is still not mine to use, but I'm still thankful that I've had it to use for the last __ years (you can fill in the blank - be kind!).  I've been without a voice for five days now and it really is quite an inconvenience!  I have to send others to do my yelling for me or chose to stay quiet instead of insisting on having my voice heard.  I'm sure somewhere in this whole experience there is some profound lesson to be learned (like "silence is golden", or "if you don't have anything nice to say ...") but I'm just going to be thankful for the many days I have had a voice and hope that I get it back to use again soon.  A.
