Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice

I'm being told that today I should be thankful for my daughters.  And of course, it's one of my daughters telling me to be thankful for her.  Don't get me wrong, my life would not be anywhere near as rich without my two princesses.  (Of course, I would be far richer monetarily without any princesses around but that's not what counts, right?  Right?!).

For princess #1 (first one in my life), I'm thankful for her "stop and smell the roses" attitude.  Since she could speak (and even before) she had all the time in the world to stop and enjoy every little caterpillar and every small distraction.  She will never have ulcers!  I'm thankful for her love for others and her love for God.  I'm thankful for her passion to have fun no matter what others think.  I'm thankful for her work ethics and her desire to do well in life.  I'm thankful that she still confides in me and asks my advice (not often, but it happens).  She's an amazing kid and I'm thankful for her.

For princess #2 (second one in my life), I'm thankful for the joy she brings into my life.  I'm thankful for her wittiness and passion for everything.  I'm thankful for her concern for others and her desire to do big things in this world.  I'm thankful for her many, many abilities and her desire to better herself everyday.  I'm thankful that she relies on the one true God, even though it can be difficult sometimes.

My two daughters definitely bring lots of sugar and spice into my life and I'm eternally thankful for them.  Love you forever T and J.
