History - but not ancient history (well, okay - ancient history too)

Today I'm thankful for great memories.  For Aslan - my stuffed lion I got when I was probably in single digits and it is still lying in my bedroom.  For friendships that have lasted decades and friendships that only lasted a short time.  For holidays I will treasure for a lifetime and holidays I couldn't wait to get over with.  For family I lived and loved for far too short a time period and for family who are still my best friends.  I'm thankful for the ability to look back and glean the wheat from the chaff and learn from each of them.
