Phillippians 4:13

Today was what I would consider a "should-be" Sunday.
I went to church.
Came home.
Practiced piano. ( I really do enjoy it, I know a lot of people don't)
Made lunch. (Bacon tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, like the culinary master that I am.)
Goofed around on the piano some more.
And then began to study!
Maybe on most Sundays one would do homework, but (as I'm sure everyone knows) there are exams coming up. Blek.
After dinner, my little sister and I cleaned the kitchen and I journeyed downstairs to study some more.
Upon running out of television to watch, I put on the movie Soul Surfer (I actually wanted to watch Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, but it wasn't working)
It's a good thing that happened though, because on this spectacular film, is something I hadn't noticed before.

If you haven't seen the movie yet and plan to, I suggest you just skip this little part.

The part when she's in the hospital at night and she's all like:
"OMG when can I go surf again!?!? :O"
and then her and her dad ramble on for a minute.
BUT THEN.
Her father says something...
something wise.

What he says actually happens to be my favourite verse of all time,
It always has been, and since it applies everywhere in life I'll often find that during the bluer times, I'll repeat this verse over and over again to myself.
He says (and I paraphrase)
"I can do everything through Him who gives me strength."
Above is the original verse, what he says is slightly different because he is telling this to his daughter.
It's Philippians 4:13
I seriously love this verse, it's...
so...
divine.
It's funny because divine either means 'awesome' or 'God-like'...
and I meant it both ways. Rebellll.
I see you're not laughing.
I don't really care.
Ha.

I think if I were to ever get a tattoo (and I will, it's on my bucket list) it would be Philippians 4:13.
Just saying.

This day, I am indebted of the verse Philippians 4:13.
And of course, its empowering divinity.
Catch ya on the flipside ;)
