I'm sure it's been at least a year since I wrote about food. I'm entitled!
We had a potluck meal tonight with some friends. I thoroughly enjoy potlucks and not just because of the food, it's because of the vast diversity in the food!
We decided to just do an appy meal so we had the best of the best because of course everyone brings their favourite recipes. When people share their favourite with you, you know it's extra good!
I also like the laid back evening where we graze all evening and just enjoy each others' company. It's good to bring out the disposable dishes (ooooh - that would be a good blog topic. Must remember that one!) and enjoy all the different dishes while spending the evening visiting and laughing.
It was a good evening. I'm thankful for friends and potlucks. A.
