I had a meeting today with a friend who is a senior citizen. She is so full of fire and enthusiasm, I have to shake my head in wonder whenever I'm around her. She has so many things on the go right now but when we tried to schedule another get-together, she claimed she was not a morning person but if we wanted to meet at 2:00 a.m., that would fit her schedule. (???!!!).
What's really funny with B. is that she is also one who delegates. She assumes that if she is willing and able at her age, everyone should be willing and able! She naively appoints people to do things assuming they won't mind and no one wants to decline and hurt her feelings so they do it. I think she's got a good system going here! She should maybe run for prime minister.
I admire people who keep up their energy and sense of humour regardless of age or circumstances. Hopefully I can be half as much a go-getter as B. is when I'm her age. A.
