J. didn't mention the reason she hasn't slept in 3 days. She's heading to Costa Rica! In fact, she's probably just boarding the plane as I write this. So don't expect to hear from her much in the next two weeks.
That's kind of what my blog is about today - time off. For reasons too complicated to explain, I get two extra days off this week. I'm so excited! I feel like I've been given extra hours in my day, extra days in my month. It's not that I have a shortage of things to do with this time, it's just the gift of time that's been given to me! And in two days, I too will be leaving on a vacation. I'm told that internet at our vacation spot is sketchy at best so there may be a short intermission in this thankful blog of ours. Please don't give up on us and visit back at the end of our break. J. said she'd try to blog in Costa Rica (yeah sure she will!) and I will try to get on at least a couple times on our trip. But for now, be thankful for any extra time you have and try to not waste it on your list of things to do. I'll do my best to do the same. Happy spring everyone! :) A.
