Anticipation

My husband often says it's a shame that we wish our lives away waiting for something to be over with.  But I think there's something different about waiting for something to come.  Like a child (or adult!) waiting for a birthday party or Christmas.  That anticipation is wonderful and makes the end result that much sweeter.  Right now I'm eagerly anticipating our spring break vacation.  I can't wait to get away from responsibilities and pressures and enjoy ten days on a sun warmed beach.  Mmmmm, that's something to be thankful for!  A.
