Grasse-Matinée?

Le grasse-matinée?
It's french!
Directly translated, it means "fat morning," but is actually how the french say "sleeping in."
I'm glad I could teach you something today!
I'm also really thankful for sleeping in!

I'm probably the only one who cringes at the sound of my alarm clock, but the noise is so annoying and... beepy. It's annoying and repetitive and beepy, I don't like it.
However, those special mornings (though few, and far between) are so wonderful!
Isn't it great to get up when you want to?
To not be controlled by a silly (but extraordinarily useful) man-made device?

So yeah,
sleep in everyone!
